Handling

Humanely Handled

Livestock supplied to Greenham Tasmania Humanely Handled Program are:

1. Free Range – defined as “Cattle will be free to graze on open pasture and will not be raised in feed
lots”

2. Grass Fed - Cattle that have been pastured and grazed on grass in a non-confined area and exclude
feed-lot cattle.

3. Raised without the use of Hormone Growth Promotants.

4. Not fed finishing diets containing therapeutic antibiotics.

5. Raised on farm using animal welfare best practices.

6. Property must be LPA and MSA registered.
